What is SIRENA-ASD?
The european clusters Aerospace Valley (France), Aviaspace (Germany) and Skywin (Belgium) joined their efforts to launch a supporting program for internationalisation, SIRENA-ASD. The action is organised between three regions: Bremen (G), Wallonia (B) and Nouvelle-Aquitaine (F).
The aim of SIRENA-ASD is to support internationalisation for SMEs and research centers willing to build innovative projects.
SIRENA-ASD will support the creation of crossborder consortia based on challenges provided by large companies or major stakeholders from the three targeted regions.
The publication of challenges has been designed to be made on three phases:
Phase 1: Publication of challenges from Nouvelle-Aquitaine Stakeholders - Challenges have been published in April 2019 and were submitted to interested candidates through a Call for Interest. 6 Champions answering 5 challenges have been selected and will be present at the Paris Air Show 2019. For now, those champions are looking for partners to build project around the challenge they selected, you will have the opportunity to meet them directly at the Paris Air Show 2019. More information about our champions here.
Phase 2: Publication of challenges from Wallonia Stakeholders - Challenges have been published in May 2019 and the Paris Air Show will give you the opportunity to meet with the three stakeholders that emitted them. On Wednesday 19th of June 2019 from 9:00 to 10:30 the challenges will be presented through a Breakfast at the Belgian Chalet. More information about the breakfast and the challenges here.
Phase 3: Publications of challenges from Bremen - The challenge publication is planned to be made after the Paris Air Show 2019. If you want to be kept updated about those challenges, do not hesitate to ask the organiser of the matchmaking.
